NEWS: UAE & Europol sign Liaison Officer Agreement; Europol says move will ‘considerably promote operational cooperation’ between law enforcement

The Ministry of Interior of the UAE and Europol this week signed a Liaison Officer Agreement, which will allow UAE law enforcement liaison officers to be deployed to Europol’s headquarters. 

The signature on September 22, took place during the visit of Europol’s Executive Director Catherine de Bolle to Abu Dhabi and Dubai to meet with the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior L.t. Gen. Saif Bin Zayed al Nahyan and Emirati law enforcement.
