KPMG has been accused of “appalling audit work” of a Chinese biotech firm, which allowed the company to carry out a $400M (€403M) accounting fraud.
The Hong Kong High Court heard on Monday that KPMG failed to ask “obvious” questions, which would have exposed the fraud, reports the Financial Times.
