South Africa’s Minister of Finance has published an updated explanation note on the country’s AML/CFT Amendment Bill, as the country grapples to improve its AFC framework ahead of a potential grey listing by the Financial Action Task Force.
Enoch Godongwana, the country’s Minister of Finance, published the explanation note on the General Laws (Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorism Financing) Amendment Bill, due to be introduced to the National Assembly later this year.
