LATEST: US Senate Finance Investigation identifies ‘major loophole’ in off-shore account reporting

A year-long investigation into an alleged $2BN (€1.99BN) tax evasion scheme has revealed a “major loophole” in offshore account reporting in the US. 

The investigation launched by the US Senate Finance Committee has identified a loophole, which was “key” in the largest alleged individual tax evasion scheme in the country’s history.
