NEWS: Property prices in Baghdad soar as experts warn corruption & money laundering are rife

As real estate sales in Baghdad boom and prices soar, some locations in Iraq’s capital are commanding more than properties in Dubai and London. 

Experts have warned that this red-hot property boom is due to rife corruption and money laundering, with corrupt officials opting to purchase assets rather than store funds in banks, reports The Media Line.
