NEWS: Portuguese banks close crypto exchange accounts over ‘risk management’ concerns

Portugal has built a reputation as a crypto haven in recent years, with the latest move suggesting a shift in Portugal’s stance as one of Europe’s most welcoming crypto destinations. 

Portugal’s biggest listed bank, Banco Comercial Portugues and Banco Santander last week closed all of CriptoLoja’s accounts, following two smaller banks in the country, reports Bloomberg.
