NEWS: France’s AMF authority calls for vigilance as scammers try to impersonate regulator

France’s Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), has warned of an increase in scammers trying to impersonate the regulator online. 

In a statement, the AMF said it had noted the recent creation of a number of internet domain names using the AMF acronym, and urged retail investors and financial professionals to ensure they are visiting the regulator’s legitimate website.
