NEWS: South African banks face a ‘high risk’ of money laundering, says SA’s Prudential Authority

South Africa’s banks and financial institutions face a “high risk” of money laundering according to the country’s regulator. 

In a new report, the Prudential Authority of the South African Reserve Bank revealed that the nation’s five largest banks, which held 89% of the country’s total assets, were most at vulnerable.
