LATEST: EBA Chief says ability to hire specialised crypto staff a ‘major concern’

The Chair of the European Banking Authority has revealed that the ability to hire specialised talent tasked with overseeing its crypto regulation is a “major concern”. 

José Manuel Campa said the retention of talent was a “major concern”, particularly in the areas of “technology, anything related to crypto, digitisation [or artificial intelligence]”, adding that these specialists were in “high demand across society.”
