NEWS: Banks demand compensation from Google and Facebook for FinCrime victims

Some of Britain’s biggest banks are demanding tech firms such as Facebook, Google and telecommunications companies shell out hundreds of millions of pounds in compensation for FinCrime victims scammed on their sites. 

Financial institutions Barclays, TSB, Lloyds and Santander have warned tech companies to bulk up their efforts to compensate scam victims who fall foul using their platforms.
