UK MPs blast new anti-money laundering proposals as a ‘thundering disappointment’

Several MPs from the UK’s all-party parliamentary group (APPG) on anti-corruption have criticised new anti-money laundering proposals as a “thundering disappointment.”

Published Friday, the proposals by the Law Commission which would see directors made more accountable for economic crimes, was blasted as “unambitious, uninspired and insipid” by the group.
