NEWS: UK admits ‘more needs to be done’ to make AML regime more effective; claims Brexit has ‘emboldened’ Britain to provide ‘global leadership’ fighting FinCrime

The UK Government has today published a review of the country’s AML/CFT regime, and admitted that “more needs to be done” to make the UK’s AML regime “more effective”.

The policy paper describes how money laundering and terrorist financing continue to be “significant threats” to the UK, as well as its economy, stability and the welfare of its citizens and those overseas.
