Australia’s NSW government backs new money laundering laws in attempt to tackle dirty money

Australia’s New South Wales (NSW) Government will introduce new laws to confiscate unexplained wealth from criminals and ban the use of encrypted devices. 

The new laws are part of long-anticipated reforms to tackle dirty money and organised crime in NSW and were decided at a snap cabinet meeting on Wednesday night.
