US has levied new sanctions on Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and his wife in its latest sanctions package.
The US Treasury announced yesterday, its Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) was bringing sanctions against Lukashenko and his wife for “gross violations of human rights and significant corruption.”
