Lebanon’s central bank chief faces money laundering charges

The Governor of Lebanon’s Central Bank, Riad Salameh and his brother have been charged with money laundering and illegal enrichment.

Prosecutor Ghada Aoun said Salameh, along with his wife and his brother, facilitated money laundering through companies they owned.
