LATEST: European Commission restricts three Belarusian banks from SWIFT and imposes ‘restrictive measures’ on 160 individuals in latest sanctions package

The European Commission has today welcomed an agreement of EU Member States to adopt further sanctions measures in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. 

The package signed off today sees banks in Belarus targeted for the country’s “involvement in the aggression”, said the Commission.
