US Deputy Attorney General warns we ‘can’t afford’ to consider global security without cyber as ‘conventional weapons and cyber threats stare down Ukraine’

The Deputy Attorney General at the US Department of Justice, Lisa Monaco has warned that we “can’t afford” to consider global security without cyber, as tensions rise in Ukraine. 

Speaking as part of the Munich Cyber Security Conference, Ms Monaco revealed that the FBI, CISA and the NSA had issued a fresh warning against Russian state-sponsored cyber actors which “continue to regularly target US defence contractors”.
