Former NYPD Sergeants’ Union chief faces expense fraud charges

US Federal prosecutors have charged the former Head of the Union representing New York City Police Department (NYPD) Sergeants, Edward Mullins with claiming hundreds of dollars in false expenses.

Edward Mullins surrendered to the Federal Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday morning, nearly two decades after he was president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association (SBA).
