NEWS: Former Credit Suisse employee alleges bank officials knew customers were criminals and says ‘each and every transaction’ was approved by bank’s hierarchy

A former relationship manager at under-fire Credit Suisse has revealed that more than half a dozen of the bank’s senior managers, and some of its legal department were aware that some clients were potentially criminals. 

The Swiss Federal Criminal Court heard yesterday how some of the bank’s managers and legal team were aware of the customer’s potential criminal links, but continued to approve millions in transactions, before ultimately freezing their accounts.
