REVEALED: Less than half of EU countries have fully transposed corporate legal liability for money laundering offences

Less than half of countries investigated by the Council of Europe’s Warsaw Convention have fully transposed corporate legal liability requirements for money laundering offences into domestic legislation. 

Article 10 of the Convention requires Member States to “establish corporate liability in domestic legislation, including when a natural person is involved as an accessory or instigator” for money laundering offences.
