BREAKING: Dubai’s position as financial capital of the Middle East at risk as FATF considers ‘grey listing’ UAE over AML concerns

The United Arab Emirates may be ‘grey listed’ by the Financial Action Task Force, over dirty money concerns, despite officials best efforts to bolster its AML regime. 

It’s believed the Financial Action Task Force is considering ‘grey listing’ the country at its upcoming February 2022 plenary, following perceived “strategic deficiencies”, according to sources.
