PANDORA PAPERS: New ICIJ report dubs UAE a ‘secrecy haven’ following careful analysis of shell companies and bad actors within Gulf nation.

Damning evidence from Pandora Papers documents has painted the United Arab Emirates as a “secrecy haven” that fosters shady deals, shell companies, and money laundering.

Some of this below-board activity reaches levels as high as the Prime Minister, the second-most powerful person in the country, according to the latest report from the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).
