Swiss finance firm and six people charged with tax evasion by US authorities

A Swiss financial services firm and six people have been charged with tax evasion by US authorities, after allegedly assisting clients evade taxes on $60 Million (€51.5 Million) of assets.

Those under investigation are accused of establishing a “Singapore Solution” scheme in which they funneled money out of Switzerland into structures in Hong Kong and Singapore before diverting them back to Swiss bank accounts.
