LATEST: MEP says Pandora Papers must be a ‘wake-up call’ and calls for ‘full transparency’ to tackle dirty money

An outspoken MEP has stressed that the publication of the Pandora Papers must serve as a “wake-up call” to tackle financial crime. 

In a statement, Sven Giegold MEP, financial and economic policy spokesperson for the Greens said that “tax evasion and money laundering continues to flourish through letterbox companies despite all past scandals”.
