EU Financial Services Commissioner Mairead McGuinness has called on the EBA to make “full use of its powers” in AML investigations.
In a speech to the European Parliament, Commissioner McGuinness said the EBA “has powers in the field of anti-money laundering”, including “investigating whether a national supervisor has breached Union law when carrying out its tasks”.
