AML programmes need to shift their focus from simply reacting to foul play after it has occurred if they want to be more effective, the CAO of one of the world’s largest banks has said.

Speaking at the latest AMLi Boardroom Series: Shaping Global Collaboration, Stefan Simon of Deutsche Bank criticised the drawn-out process of some AML regimes, specifically information sharing.
