Crypto lobby group pleads with US regulators that asset-backed Stablecoins do not pose a ‘systemic risk’ to US financial system

cryptocurrency lobby group has pleaded with US regulators  that asset-backed Stablecoins should escape fresh regulation as they “do not pose a systemic risk” to the country’s financial system.

asset-backed Stablecoins should not be subject to harsher regulations, “simply because new technology is being deployed”, according to Reuters.
