NORDICS: Compliance workloads remain high while staff worry about the impact of automation on their careers – new report suggests

Despite being repeatedly praised for what it can bring to AML compliance, technological advancement is a cause for concern for some in the sector, it has emerged.

A new report from the Nordic Financial Unions, a collaboration of the region’s banking and financial trade unions, has said the fear of being replaced by a machine is already driving some compliance professionals away from the sector completely.
