BREAKING: Turkey, Mali and Jordan ‘grey listed’ by FATF as Botswana and Mauritius removed and praised for their ‘hard work and determination’

The Financial Action Task Force has confirmed that Turkey will be ‘grey listed’, in a move that may further decimate the country’s battered economy. 

Following FATF’s three-day plenary session, the global watchdog announced Turkey would be grey listed after a “large number of serious issues” were identified in its mutual evaluation in 2019.
