Malta’s €10k cash limit comes with very few loopholes; a likely scenario when the EU adopts the same law

Potential ways to dodge new rules on cash purchases throughout the EU will likely lead to stumbling blocks, if Malta’s example is anything to go by.

The country placed an upper limit on cash purchases in March, meaning consumers or businesses were barred from making any payment for a good or service worth €10,000 or more.
