Japan’s financial regulator lays plans for crypto inclusion in AML regime

Japan’s top financial regulator has revealed the country’s proposed money laundering framework looks set to include crypto dealers.

The country’s Financial Services Agency (FSA) plans to introduce a standard industry-wide AML system to be used by those in the Financial sector to assess clients and their AML risk.
