THIRD TIME LUCKY? FATF’s evaluation of India pushed back to 2022 in latest setback

An evaluation by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) into India’s AML/CFT compliance has been postponed for a third time, with officials now expected to assess the nation in late 2022.

Originally scheduled for September 2020, FATF postponed the assessment until February 2021.
