Major crypto bust in Hong Kong as customs officials arrest four and shut down laundering operation worth $1.2BN

Customs authorities in Hong Kong have conducted a major operation against a laundering syndicate responsible for moving around HK$1.2BN (€130M) – most of it in crypto.

Four people were arrested on Thursday 8th July as part of the clampdown. One of them is believed to be the scheme’s mastermind.
