Europe’s new €10,000 cash limit may not go far enough – leading German Financial Spokesperson warns

The proposed €10,000 cash limit on transactions in the EU has been largely welcomed by financial policy spokesman for Germany’s Social Democratic Party (SPD), Lothar Binding.

The upcoming AML Action Plan will be revealed on July 20, with many expecting an upper limit on cash transactions of €10,000 in an effort to curb money laundering in the bloc.
