US CLAIMS: ‘China is world’s greatest cyber threat’ followed by Russia, Iran and North Korea, US Assistant Attorney General Demers tells #IFPC2021 conference

Following a ‘rob, replicate and replace’ strategy against US and European companies, China is slowly increasing its dominance in global markets, Demers said. “We see a very sophisticated campaign from China, with the goal of replacing companies, first on the Chinese market, and then in the global market.”

CHINA is the greatest cybersecurity threat in the world today, followed by Russia, Iran and North Korea, a leading US Department of Justice prosecutor has told the #IFPC2021 conference.

John C. Demers, Assistant Attorney General of the National Security Division in the US Justice Department, said while the other three countries pose ‘significant cyber risks’ to governments, financial institutions and individuals the world over, none compares to the kind of organised threat posed by China.
