Actor arrested in Los Angeles as SEC begins probe into $690M Ponzi scheme

A Hollywood actor has been arrested by the FBI in Los Angeles amid allegations that he orchestrated a $690M Ponzi scheme.

The arrest follows an official notice of enforcement from the US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) Tuesday, which announced asset freezes “and other emergency relief” against the actor, Zachary Horwitz (known in the industry as Zach Avery), and his company 1inMM (one in a million) Capital LLC.
