$4.5BN in unreported income discovered within UK financial system; FinCEN and public data show clusters of businesses set up to potentially hide financial crime

Investigations by a team at the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, analysing vast amounts of information from both sources, concluded that an entire “cottage industry” had been set up to launder money through the country.
