  • Two Entities Charged in $130 Million Fraud Scheme That Used False SEC Filings to Boost Investor Confidence

    Washington D.C., Oct. 29, 2026 —
    The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged two foreign-operated, Colorado-incorporated entities, BG Wealth Sharing Ltd and DSJ Exchange Pty Ltd, for orchestrating a fraud scheme that used false SEC filings to boost confidence in their investment program and helped them raise more than $130 million from tens of thousands of retail investors. According to the SEC’s complaint, from at least October 2025 through June 2026, BG Wealth and DSJ Exchange induced investors, many located in more than 40 U.S. states and multiple U.S. territories, to participate in a supposed “wealth-sharing program” by promising extraordinary, risk-free returns generated by so-called SI-generated “signals” for crypto asset trading.

  • Croatia: EPPO conducts urgent investigative measures in probe into abuse of office and authority involving RRF funds

    (Luxembourg, 29 October 2026) – The European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) in Zagreb (Croatia) is conducting urgent evidentiary actions today in an investigation into possible abuse of office and authority involving funds from the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) and the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia. These follow joint coordinated efforts by EPPO and the Office for the Suppression of Corruption and Organised Crime (USKOK), which is conducting parallel measures as part of a national investigation. All investigative measures are carried out by the National Police Office for Suppression of Corruption and Organised Crime (PNUSKOK).
