LATEST: Scottish prosecutors call for Government to issue ‘McMafia order’ on Trump’s Scottish resorts

A Scottish court has heard there remains “real and substantial concerns” regarding Trump’s Scottish affairs, with prosecutors calling for the judge to overturn the Scottish Government’s refusal to pursue an ‘Unexplained Wealth Order’ against former US President Donald Trump.

Prosecutor Kay Springham QC said there would be substantial prejudice to the public interest, should the Court of Session refuse its calls for judicial review on the proposed ‘McMafia’ order.
