NEWS: Société Générale signs deal with Anthropic to cut costs and accelerate AI rollout

SOCIÉTÉ Générale expects AI to accelerate cost-cutting efforts as it rolls out Anthropic’s Claude model across the bank.

The French lender estimates that AI could generate between €500 million and €600 million in savings. About €350 million of those savings have already been identified for 2029, according to Société Générale’s strategic plan.
