NEWS: Ukraine’s Sense Bank turned off AML controls, enabling money laundering transactions – report

SENIOR managers at Sense Bank, a state-owned lender in Ukraine, allegedly turned off AML controls in a move which enabled a major money laundering scheme.

The transactions allegedly relate to a money-laundering scheme to raise 150m hryvnia ($3.4m) in bail for Herman Haluschenko, Ukraine’s former justice minister.
