MORE than half of Ireland’s financial institutions do not expect to meet the EU’s new AML rules by next July, according to a new survey.
The survey covered more than 500 financial institutions across 40 countries. It found that only 43% of Irish firms expect to be fully compliant by July 2027. That compares with 33% across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
