NEWS: FCA moves to fine BancTrust CEO for not revealing US and Venezuela sanctions

THE UK’s FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) has decided to fine Carlos Ricardo Fuenmayor, CEO of BancTrust, £99,600 for failing to disclose three separate matters.

Fuenmayor has referred the FCA’s Decision Notice to the Upper Tribunal. Both parties will present their cases. The findings remain provisional.
