NEWS: Binance likely to secure pan-European MiCA license in Greece

By CARLO BOFFA, EU Correspondent

GREEK authorities are set to grant Binance a licence to operate legally across the EU, paving the way for the company to fall under the bloc’s anti-money laundering supervision, AML Intelligence has learned.

The world’s biggest crypto exchange filed an application in January for a pan-European licence under the Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) regulation with the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC), which is expected to approve it before a regulatory deadline.
