LATEST: ING to cut 1,250 jobs, compliance roles face axe amid AI shift

ING will target its compliance division for cuts as it looks to shed 1,250 jobs amid a broader shift to AI to reduce costs.

In a presentation to investors, the Dutch bank said that it expects “operations costs to come down further”.
