NEWS: AMLA’s Derville Rowland says that 40 directly-supervised firms could include ‘household names’

COMPANIES will have to raise AML standards to comply with new EU rules, AMLA Executive Director Derville Rowland has warned.

Professions such as jewellers, accountants, lawyers and estate agents will fall under enhanced EU AML Regulation (AMLR) from 2027.
