A GROUP of the world’s most influential law enforcement chiefs will gather in Dublin for ‘European Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2026’, the AFC sector’s leading conference.
Leading figures confirmed to speak at the event include the head of Interpol, the Chief of IRS-CI and the head of financial crime with Europol.
At EAFCS2026 in Dublin on April 29, they will give key insights into the latest developments in fighting fraud and financial crime. Interpol is set to announce its latest efforts to tackle global fraud while Europol will give an update on the agency’s new fraud rapid response mechanism.
The summit is a must-attend event for AFC professionals in banking, fintech, insurance, gaming, crypto as well as regulation and supervision.
EAFCS 2026 will be the biggest edition of the conference yet, with almost 1,000 C-suite executives, policymakers and top regulators set to attend. Early Bird tickets are now available [HERE].
Leading law enforcement figures at EAFCS2026 include:
- Valdecy Urquiza – Secretary General at Interpol. He will receive the 2026 John O’Driscoll Memorial Award, recognising outstanding contributions to the global fight against financial crime
- Guy Ficco – Chief Internal Revenue Service – Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI)
- Angela Willis – Assistant Commissioner of the Garda Organised and Serious Crime Bureau
- Jean-Philippe Lecouffe – Deputy Executive Director Operations Directorate at Europol
- Giuseppe Lopez – the new head of the European Financial and Economic Crime Centre (EFECC) at Europol. His appearance at EAFCS2026 will be one of his first formal events since taking up his new post last month, replacing Burkhard Muhl
- Shawna Coxon – Deputy Commissioner, Operations at An Garda Síochána
- Rory Corcoran – Directorate Coordinator at Interpol’s Financial Crime and Anti-Corruption Centre Interpol General Secretariat
- Eduardo Pecoraro – I-Checkit Coordinator, Operational Support and Analysis Directorate, INTERPOL General Secretariat

The event is where law enforcement will meet with AFC leaders in banks and fintechs, insurance, gaming and VASPs come to learn the latest AFC techniques and technologies.
The Dublin summit offers attendees the chance to hear from these high-profile speakers. It also emphasizes networking with influential decision-makers in the field.
Ireland’s Tánaiste and Finance Minister Simon Harris will open this year’s conference.
This year’s event takes on additional focus as Ireland takes on the Presidency of the European Union Council – making Dublin the centre of EU decision-making.
