NEWS: Ex-Wirecard exec Jan Marsalek suspected in €300m ‘Operation Chargeback’ fraud

GERMAN prosecutors suspect former Wirecard executives, including fugitive ex-Asia head Jan Marsalek, of helping run a global fraud network dismantled this week as part of ‘Operation Chargeback’.

The Koblenz Public Prosecutor’s Office said the group misused millions of credit card details for years, causing losses of at least €300 million.
