NEWS: US Treasury Secretary – new SARs guidance addresses banking ‘pain points’

NEW guidance on SARs (Suspicious Activity Reports) aimed to address ‘pain points’ for banks, according to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

He also said that further reforms to the U.S. AML regime will focus on improving the ‘effectiveness’ of compliance systems.
