A former government minister in Romania has been handed jail time for corruption, as has the daughter of a former president.
Elena Udrea, who served as Romanian tourism minister from 2008 to 2012, was sentenced to eight years in prison in a Bucharest court Tuesday, after being found guilty of both bribery and money laundering.
